Job training joint legislative oversight committeeestablished--members--duties--expenses.
620.481. There is hereby created the "Missouri Job TrainingJoint Legislative Oversight Committee". The committee shallconsist of three members of the Missouri senate appointed by thepresident pro tem of the senate; three members of the house ofrepresentatives appointed by the speaker of the house. No morethan two of the members of the senate and two of the members ofthe house of representatives shall be from the same politicalparty. Members of the Missouri job training joint legislativeoversight committee shall report to the governor, the presidentpro tem of the senate and the speaker of the house ofrepresentatives on all assistance to industries under theprovisions of sections 620.470 to 620.481 provided during thepreceding fiscal year and the customized job training programadministered by the department of elementary and secondaryeducation. The report of the committee shall be delivered nolater than October first of each year. The director of thedepartment of economic development shall report to the committeesuch information as the committee may deem necessary for itsannual report. Members of the committee shall receive nocompensation in addition to their salary as members of thegeneral assembly, but may receive their necessary expenses whileattending the meetings of the committee, to be paid out of thejoint contingent fund.
