Arrest without a warrant.
548.141. The arrest of a person may be lawfully made also byany peace officer or a private person, without a warrant uponreasonable information that the accused stands charged in thecourts of a state with a crime punishable by death orimprisonment for a term exceeding one year, but when so arrestedthe accused must be taken before a judge or associate circuitjudge with all practicable speed and complaint must be madeagainst him under oath setting forth the ground for the arrest asin section 548.131; and thereafter his answer shall be heard asif he had been arrested on a warrant.
