Pleading in alternative--consistency.
509.110. A party may set forth two or more statements of aclaim or defense alternately or hypothetically, either in onecount or defense or in separate counts or defenses. When two ormore statements are made in the alternative and one of them ifmade independently would be sufficient, the pleading is not madeinsufficient by the insufficiency of one or more of thealternative statements. A party may also state as many separateclaims or defenses as he has whether based on legal or onequitable grounds or on both.
