Suits against municipal corporations, where commenced.
508.050. Suits against municipal corporations as defendantor codefendant shall be commenced only in the county in which themunicipal corporation is situated, or if the municipalcorporation is situated in more than one county, then suitsagainst the municipal corporation shall be commenced only in thatcounty wherein the seat of government of the municipalcorporation is situated; except that suits may be brought againsta city containing more than four hundred thousand inhabitants inany county in which any part of the city is situated.

(1985) Provisions for judicial review of contested cases under the Administrative Procedure and Review Act are specific and controlling as against the general venue statute for suits against municipal corporations. State ex rel. City of Springfield v. Crouch (Mo.App.), 687 S.W.2d 639.
