Definitions.
453.322. As used in this section and section 453.325, the followingterms shall mean:
(1) "Division", the division of family services in the department ofsocial services;
(2) "Maintenance of effort", state funds appropriated for the aid tofamilies with dependent children (AFDC), emergency assistance, AFDC-relatedchild care and the JOBS program;
(3) "Temporary assistance for needy families", the federal blockgrant moneys available to the state for public assistance benefits andprograms authorized by the Personal Responsibility and Work OpportunityReconciliation Act of 1996, and commonly known as "TANF".
