Proprietor entering into contract to be furnished certain informationin writing--time limitation.
436.153. No performing rights society shall enter into, or offer toenter into, a contract for the payment of royalties by a proprietor unlessat the time of the offer, or any time thereafter, but no later thanseventy-two hours prior to the execution of that contract, it provides tothe proprietor, in writing, the following:
(1) A schedule of the rates and terms of royalties under thecontract, including any sliding scale, discounts, or reductions in fees onany basis for which the proprietor may be eligible, and any scheduledincreases or decreases in fees during the term of the contract;
(2) Upon request of the proprietor, the opportunity to review themost currently available list of the copyright owners' licenses by theperforming rights society at the premises of the proprietor;
(3) Notification of the method that must be used by the proprietor toobtain a listing of the copyrighted works licensed by the performing rightssociety contract, including the location of such listing of works licensedby the performing arts society and the toll-free number required bysections 436.150 to 436.163.
