Violations, penalty.

376.1506. 1. If the director has a reason to believe that thediscount medical plan organization is not complying with the requirementsof sections 376.1500 to 376.1532, the director may examine or investigatethe business and affairs of any discount medical plan organization underthe authority of sections 374.190 and 374.202 to 374.207, RSMo. Thedirector may require any discount medical plan organization or applicant toproduce any records, books, files, advertising and solicitation materials,or other information and may take statements under oath to determinewhether the discount medical plan organization or applicant is in violationof the law. Reasonable expenses incurred in conducting any examinationshall be paid by the discount medical plan organization under sections374.202 to 374.207, RSMo.

2. Failure by the discount medical plan organization to pay theexpenses incurred under this subsection shall be grounds for denial orrevocation of the discount medical plan organization's registration.
