Proceedings in name of director for violations of the provisions ofthis chapter.
361.280. If any corporation, subject to the provisions ofthis chapter, shall refuse or fail, after due notice, to pay anyassessment lawfully imposed upon it or him by the director; or ifany such corporation or any officer, director, trustee, agent oremployee of any such corporation shall refuse or fail, after duenotice, to pay any penalty or forfeiture incurred under anyprovision of this chapter by such corporation, officer, director,trustee, agent or employee, or if any other corporation or personshall violate any of the provisions contained in this chapter,the director may in his discretion report the facts to theattorney general, who shall thereupon, in the name of the stateat the relation and to the use of the director, institute suchaction or proceeding as the facts may warrant against suchperson, corporation, officer, director, trustee, agent oremployee.
