Injunctions, restraining orders, other orders, when,grounds--commencement of action, where.
340.276. 1. Upon application by the board, and thenecessary burden having been met, a court of general jurisdictionmay grant an injunction, restraining order or other order as maybe appropriate to enjoin a person from:
(1) Offering to engage or engaging in the performance ofany acts or practice for which a license, certificate, permit orother authority is required by sections 340.200 to 340.330 upon ashowing that such acts or practices were performed or offered tobe performed* without a license, certificate, permit or otherauthority; or
(2) Engaging in any practice authorized by a license,certificate, permit or other authority issued pursuant tosections 340.200 to 340.330 upon a showing that the holderpresents a substantial probability of serious danger to thehealth, safety or welfare of any resident of the state or clientor patient of the licensee.
2. Any such action shall be commenced either in the countyin which such conduct occurred or in the county where thedefendant resides. Any action brought under this section shallbe in addition to and not in lieu of any penalty or otherdiscipline provided for by sections 340.200 to 340.330 and may bebrought concurrently with other actions to enforce sections340.200 to 340.330.
