Rules and regulations of board, procedure--fees, how set.
333.111. 1. The board shall adopt and enforce rules and regulationsfor the transaction of its business and for standards of service andpractice to be followed in the professions of embalming and funeraldirecting deemed by it necessary for the public good and consistent withthe laws of this state. The board may also prescribe a standard ofproficiency as to the qualifications and fitness of those engaging in thepractice of embalming or funeral directing.
2. The board shall set the amount of the fees which this chapterauthorizes and requires by rules and regulations promulgated pursuant tosection 536.021, RSMo. The fees shall be set at a level to produce revenuewhich shall not substantially exceed the cost and expense of administeringthis chapter.
3. No rule or portion of a rule promulgated under the authority ofthis chapter shall become effective unless it has been promulgated pursuantto the provisions of section 536.024, RSMo.
