Dental hygienist, license without examination, when--fee.
332.281. The board shall grant without examination acertificate of registration and license to a dental hygienist whohas been licensed in another state for at least two consecutiveyears immediately preceding his application to practice inMissouri if the board is satisfied by proof adduced by theapplicant that his qualifications are at least equivalent to therequirements for initial registration as a dental hygienist inMissouri under the provisions of this chapter and that he is ofgood moral character and reputation; provided that the board mayby rule require an applicant under this section to take anyexamination over Missouri laws given to dental hygienistinitially seeking licensure under section 332.251 and to take apractical examination if his licensure in any state was everdenied, revoked or suspended for incompetency or inability topractice in a safe manner, or if he has failed any practicalexamination given as a prerequisite to licensure as a dentalhygienist in any state. Any such dental hygienist applying to beso registered and licensed shall accompany his application with afee not greater than the dental hygienist examination and licensefees and if registered and licensed shall renew his license asprovided in section 332.261.
