Board, meetings, officers--records--compensation.
332.041. 1. The board shall meet at least twice a year at such timesand places in the state of Missouri as may be fixed by the board. Theboard shall elect from its membership a president, a vice president, and asecretary-treasurer, each of whom shall be elected at the times and servefor the terms as are determined by the board, and each of whose dutiesshall be prescribed by the board.
2. The board shall keep records of its official acts, and certifiedcopies of any such records attested by a designee of the board with theboard's seal affixed shall be received as evidence in all courts to thesame extent as the board's original records would be received.
3. Each member of the board shall receive as compensation an amountset by the board not to exceed fifty dollars for each day devoted to theaffairs of the board, and shall be entitled to reimbursement of hisexpenses necessarily incurred in the discharge of his official duties. Theboard may employ and pay legal counsel and such board personnel, as definedin subdivision (4) of subsection 10 of section 324.001, RSMo, as it deemsnecessary within appropriations therefor.
