Compensation for and use of the title of licensed clinicalperfusionist, when--penalty.
324.153. 1. A person may not engage or offer to engage in perfusion,as defined in sections 324.125 to 324.183, for compensation or use thetitle or represent or imply that the person has the title of "licensedclinical perfusionist" or "provisional licensed clinical perfusionist" oruse the letters "LCP" or "PLCP" and may not use any facsimile of suchtitles in any manner to indicate or imply that the person is a licensedperfusionist or provisional licensed perfusionist unless the person holdsan appropriate license issued pursuant to sections 324.125 to 324.183.
2. A person may not use the title or represent or imply that suchperson has the title of "certified clinical perfusionist" or use theletters "CCP" and may not use any facsimile of such title in any manner toindicate or imply that such person is a certified clinical perfusionist bythe American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion unless the person holds acertificate as a certified clinical perfusionist issued by the AmericanBoard of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
3. Any person who violates the provisions of subsection 1 or 2 ofthis section is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.
