Exceptions to licensing requirements.
324.059. If a person does not represent or hold himself or herselfout as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant asdefined in section 324.050, nothing in sections 324.050 to 324.089 shall beconstrued to limit, preclude or otherwise interfere with:
(1) The practice, service or activities of any person licensed inthis state pursuant to any other law from engaging in the profession oroccupation for which the person is licensed;
(2) Employed as an occupational therapist or occupational therapyassistant by the government of the United States or any agency of it, ifsuch person provides occupational therapy solely under the direction orcontrol of the organization by which the person is employed;
(3) Pursuing a supervised course of study leading to a degree orcertificate in occupational therapy at an accredited or approvededucational program, if such person is designated by a title which clearlyindicates the person's status as a student or trainee.
