Loads which might become dislodged to be secured--failure, penalty.
307.010. 1. All motor vehicles, and every trailer and semitraileroperating upon the public highways of this state and carrying goods ormaterial or farm products which may reasonably be expected to becomedislodged and fall from the vehicle, trailer or semitrailer as a result ofwind pressure or air pressure and/or by the movement of the vehicle,trailer or semitrailer shall have a protective cover or be sufficientlysecured so that no portion of such goods or material can become dislodgedand fall from the vehicle, trailer or semitrailer while being transportedor carried.
2. Operation of a motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer in violationof this section shall be an infraction, and any person who pleads or isfound guilty thereof shall be punished as provided by law.
