License continued on order allowing installment payment of judgment,when.
303.130. 1. A judgment-debtor upon due notice to thejudgment-creditor may apply to the court in which such judgmentwas rendered for the privilege of paying such judgment ininstallments and the court, in its discretion and withoutprejudice to any other legal remedies which the judgment-creditormay have, may so order and fix the amounts and times of paymentof the installments.
2. The director shall not suspend a license, registration ora nonresident's operating privilege, and shall restore anylicense, registration or nonresident's operating privilegesuspended following nonpayment of a judgment, when thejudgment-debtor gives proof of financial responsibility andobtains such an order permitting the payment of such judgment ininstallments, and while the payment of any said installment isnot in default.
3. In the event the judgment-debtor fails to pay anyinstallment as specified by such order, then upon notice of suchdefault, the director shall forthwith suspend the license,registration or nonresident's operating privilege of thejudgment-debtor until such judgment is satisfied, as provided inthis chapter.
