License classification system, director to establish--categories.
302.015. Notwithstanding the provisions of the CommercialMotor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 (Title XII of Pub. Law 99-570),the director shall have the authority to establish a licenseclassification system, and shall not be limited to classificationof the following:
(1) Any person, other than one subject to sections 302.700to 302.780, who operates a motor vehicle in the transportation ofpersons or property, and who receives compensation for suchservices in wages, salary, commission or fare; or who as an owneror employee operates a motor vehicle carrying passengers orproperty for hire; or who regularly operates a commercial motorvehicle of another person in the course of or as an incident tohis employment, but whose principal occupation is not theoperating of such motor vehicle, except that a school busoperator who obtains a school bus permit as provided in section302.272 shall not be considered in this class;
(2) Any person, other than such person defined insubdivision (1) of this section who is in actual physical controlof a motor vehicle;
(3) Any person, other than such person defined insubdivisions (1) and (2) of this section who is in actualphysical control of a motorcycle or motortricycle.
