Counties and cities may cooperate and contribute.
278.145. The county commission of any county or thegoverning body of any city, town or village in which a soil andwater conservation district lies in whole or in part maycooperate with the supervisors of the district in carrying outthe purposes of the district program, and in the event the countycommission or governing body finds that the benefits accruing tothe county or municipal area by reason of the program of the soiland water conservation district justify such action, the countycommission or governing body may contribute money, services orthe use of equipment to the district.
