Veterinarian--oath, bond--office--duties.

267.030. Said veterinary surgeon shall, before entering uponthe discharge of his duty, file with said director of agriculturehis oath of office with a satisfactory and sufficient bond forthe faithful performance of his official duties. He shall havehis office with or near the office of the director ofagriculture; shall act only as an expert, and shall, whenpracticable, devote all time possible to the investigation of thenature of, causes of and remedies for the diseases of domesticanimals. The director of agriculture shall have charge of allclerical work pertaining to the veterinary service.
