247.380. Whenever a district has been declared duly andfinally organized, the members of the board shall qualify byfiling with the circuit clerk their oath of office, which shallbe in the form prescribed by the constitution, and such boardmembers shall also file with the circuit clerk corporate suretybonds to be furnished at the expense of the district in an amountnot to exceed one thousand dollars each, the form and amountthereof to be fixed and approved by the circuit court havingjurisdiction, and said bonds to be conditioned for the faithfulperformance of their duties as directors.
