Penalty laws not to prevent construction of water gates.
246.260. Nothing in sections 246.200 to 246.230 shall beconstrued so as to prevent the construction of water gates acrossdrainage ditches, provided the same are built in such manner asnot to retard the flow of water through the ditches nor in anyway impair the usefulness of such ditches.
