Organization of commissioners--duties of secretary of boardof supervisors.
242.250. 1. Said circuit clerk upon the filing of saidorder of appointment shall notify each of said commissioners ofhis appointment by written or printed notice, and in the same heshall state the time and place for the first meeting of saidcommissioners.
2. The secretary of the board of supervisors or his deputyshall attend such meeting, and shall furnish to saidcommissioners a complete list of lands, all corporate and otherproperty described in the articles of association or adjacentthereto that will be affected by carrying out and putting intoforce the plan for reclamation, and the names of the owners ofsuch property, as were contained in the articles of association,at the date of the decree of the court incorporating thedistrict. Said secretary shall also furnish said commissioners acopy of the plan for reclamation, with maps and profiles in hisoffice.
3. The commissioners at said meeting, or within ten daysthereafter, shall each take and subscribe to an oath that theywill faithfully and impartially discharge their duties as suchcommissioners and make a true report of the work done by them.The said commissioners shall also at said meeting elect one oftheir own number chairman, and the secretary of the board ofsupervisors, or his deputy, shall be ex officio secretary of saidboard of commissioners during their continuance in office.
