208.220. The commissioner of administration may deduct from any stateemployee's compensation amounts determined to be owed by such employeepursuant to the procedures contained in section 208.080 for any debtrelated to the overpayment of public assistance benefits, including foodstamps, aid to families with dependent children, medical assistance,general relief, and similar assistance administered by the department ofsocial services or other state department; provided that involuntarydeductions based on such a debt determination may be made only if thedetermination is final.
