Medical and technical advisory committee, appointment, expenses.

208.195. The director of the division of family services shall appointan advisory committee to provide professional and technical consultation inrespect to the medical care aspects for public assistance recipients as setout in this chapter. The committee shall consist of twenty members, includingthe chairman of the senate committee of public health and welfare and chairmanof the house of representatives committee of Social Security, and a minoritymember of each committee and at least three physicians licensed to practice inthis state. The others shall be persons interested in hospitaladministration, nursing home administration, nursing, dentistry, optometry andpharmaceutics. The members of the advisory committee shall receive nocompensation for their services other than expenses actually incurred in theperformance of their official duties.
