Personal property, funds and obligations of nine-director urbanschool districts used for public library purposes to be transferredto urban public district.
182.723. Upon the effective date of creation of an urbanpublic library district any and all outstanding obligations of anine-director urban school district incurred for public librarypurposes shall become the obligations of the corresponding urbanpublic library district; all funds of such nine-director urbanschool district collected and held for public library purposesshall be transferred to and vested in the urban public librarydistrict; and all personal property held by such nine-directorurban school district and used for public library purposes shallbe transferred to and vested in the urban public librarydistrict. Any money borrowed and bonds issued for the purpose ofpurchasing sites for public library buildings or erecting,remodeling, or furnishing library buildings or any combinationthereof shall be deemed obligations incurred for public librarypurposes.
