Duties of secretary.

172.160. It shall be the duty of the secretary to keep andpreserve all records, books and papers belonging to the board; toprepare, under the direction of the board, all their reports,estimates, etc., and generally to do and execute all such mattersand things as belong to his office and may be required of him bythe curators; and his compensation shall be fixed by the board.
