Public library--powers of board in urban districts.
170.211. 1. The school board of any urban school districtmay establish and maintain a library and free reading room forthe use of the school district, and may appropriate such sums asthe board deems proper for the support of the library and readingroom.
2. The school board may in the name of the school districtaccept, hold, invest and reinvest, use and disburse anydonations, bequests or devises made to it for the benefit of thelibrary or for library purposes in accordance with the terms ofthe donation, bequest or devise.
