Correction of errors in benefits--adjustment.
169.400. Should any change or error in records result inany member or beneficiary receiving from the retirement systemmore or less than the person would have been entitled to receivehad the records been correct, the board of trustees shall havethe power to correct such error and, as far as practicable, mayadjust the payments in such a manner that the actuarialequivalent of the benefit to which such member or beneficiary wascorrectly entitled shall be paid.
