Redeemed bonds of school districts to be destroyed--record--witnesses.
164.221. Whenever any bonds of any school district areredeemed or paid off, the bonds shall be burned or shredded inthe presence of two members of the school board and two othercredible persons as witnesses of the fact. The secretary orclerk of the board shall record in the books of the district adescription of the bonds so destroyed by noting the date whenissued and when due, and the number and amount of each of thebonds, and the names of the members of the board and of thewitnesses who are present at the burning of the bonds.
