Examinations for high school equivalency certificate, whattests acceptable.
161.094. The department of elementary and secondaryeducation shall provide for examination of such applicants atleast twice each year at places reasonably convenient for theapplicants. The examination shall be designed to test theapplicant's knowledge of subject matter usually presented in thecourses required to be successfully completed by those graduatingfrom the public high schools of the state. The certificate ofequivalence may also be issued on the basis of test scorescertified to the state board of education by the United StatesArmed Forces Institute, or a similar agency approved by the stateboard of education.
