Secretary, appointment, duties--compensation, how set.
138.260. 1. The commission shall appoint an administrativesecretary who shall serve at the pleasure of the commission. Theadministrative secretary shall keep full and true records of allproceedings of the commission and copies of all rules,regulations, decisions and orders made by the commission and heshall be responsible for the safe custody and preservation ofsuch records and documents. He shall be responsible for thepreparation and printing of the annual report as required bysection 138.440. Under the direction of the commission theadministrative secretary shall superintend the clerical businessof the commission, handle correspondence, supervise generaloffice procedures and perform such other duties as the commissionprescribes.
2. The administrative secretary shall receive a salary in anamount to be fixed by the commission within the limits of theappropriation made therefor.
