Voting machine to be kept locked--machine unlocked, when.
115.495. After being locked and sealed against further voting by theelection judges, voting machines shall remain locked for the periodprovided by law for filing an election contest and as much longer as may benecessary or advisable because of any threatened or pending contest, grandjury investigation, or civil or criminal case relating to the election.During this time, the voting machines shall not be unlocked, except uponorder of a court, grand jury or legislative body trying an electioncontest.
