Document preservation fund, duties of archives division to preservelegal, historical and genealogical documents--annual report.
109.007. 1. The general assembly shall appropriate moneys from thefund to the office of the secretary of state to be used exclusively by thearchives division to:
(1) Preserve, through any archivally appropriate means, documents oflegal, historical and genealogical importance to the state of Missouri; and
(2) Perform all other functions necessary to make these documentsavailable to the public.
2. Once each year, the secretary of state shall report to the generalassembly on the expenditure of the moneys appropriated to the archivedivision for the purpose set out in this section.
