105.1010. The Missouri state employees voluntary lifeinsurance commission shall have five commissioners, including onemember of the house of representatives to be selected by thespeaker of the house, one member of the senate to be selected bythe president pro tem of the senate, and three othercommissioners to be appointed by the governor of the state ofMissouri, with the advice and consent of the senate. The membersof the general assembly appointed as commissioners shall serveduring their terms of office in the general assembly. Thecommissioners appointed by the governor shall serve a term ofthree years; except that, of the commissioners first appointed,one shall be appointed for a term of one year, one shall beappointed for a term of two years, and one shall be appointed fora term of three years. The commission shall annually elect achairman and shall be required to meet not less than quarterly orat any other such time as called by the chairman or a majority ofthe commission. The members of the commission shall receive nocompensation for their services, but shall be reimbursed fortheir actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performanceof their duties.
