Condemnation of property--filing of exceptions to commissioners'report.
88.033. All parties interested shall take notice of thefiling of said report, and any owner of any lot, tract or parcelof land assessed may, within ten days after the filing of saidreport, file his written exception to said report, asking thatthe same be set aside and, if the judge shall find that suchassessment was not properly made, or that injustice was done inthe making of such assessment, he shall set aside the report ofthe commissioners and appoint new commissioners, who shallproceed in the manner provided for the first commissioners, andso on until a fair and proper determination of the allowance ofdamages and assessment of benefits has been made and reported.Whenever no exceptions are filed within the time limited, orwhenever the judge shall find that the commissioners have fairlyand properly discharged their duties and reported their action,he shall make an order confirming the assessment as reported,which shall be final as to the assessment of benefits.
