Disincorporation through failure of trustees to qualify.
80.580. If the trustees appointed by the county commissionunder section 80.040 shall fail to qualify and assume the dutiesof such trustees, within one year after their appointment, or ifthe voters of such village shall fail for one year to elect suchtrustees, then such village shall be disincorporated by thecounty commission of the county where the village is located,upon the petition of any citizen residing in such village, afterthe publication of notice of the presentation of such petitionpublished for two weeks successively prior to such application insome newspaper in this state nearest the village.
