Joint fire department committee--duties.
71.420. The joint fire department so installed, asaforesaid, shall be managed by a joint fire department committeeconsisting of one member from each of the contracting parties,which shall prescribe such rules and regulations, and appoint andemploy such officers, firemen and other persons as may benecessary to efficiently operate the fire department, and acquirethe necessary apparatus for the installation of the department,the property on which the fire department is to be located andsupervise the erection of the fire department building, asauthorized by ordinance, all as herein provided.
