Military forces, how organized--oath.
41.080. 1. The national guard, the air national guard andthe naval militia will be organized in accordance with theallocations therefor accepted from the federal government.
2. The national guard, the air national guard and the navalmilitia shall be organized as prescribed in the tables oforganization and instructions applicable to those elements of theorganized militia of the United States as are allocated to thestate.
3. The reserve military force when organized shall be of thestrength and composition prescribed by the governor, and beforeentering upon such services every member shall take and subscribeto the following oath:
"I, ........., do solemnly swear that I will support and
defend the Constitution of the United States and the state
of Missouri against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that
I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I
will obey the orders of the governor of Missouri and the
officers appointed over me, according to law; and I take
this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or
purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully
discharge my duties as a member of the organized militia of
the state of Missouri upon which I am about to enter, so
help me God."
