§ 75-29-105. Oath and bond of inspector.
Every inspector of food, before he enters on his duties, shall take and subscribe the following oath, to be attached to his commission: "I, A B, do swear [or affirm] that, as inspector of food for the ________, I will not knowingly or wilfully injure any person, or suffer any injury to be done by others, with my knowledge or consent; and I will, at all times and in all things, well and truly perform all the duties of the inspector of food for the ________ according to law, to the best of my ability, without fear, favor, or partiality. So help me God." He shall give bond, with sufficient sureties, payable to the county, city, town, or village, in the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties.
