211.511 Waste injunction; township treasurer; duties; order of authorized tribunal.

Sec. 1.

That when any person, co-partnership, company or corporation shall neglect or refuse to pay any tax assessed on the lands of such person, co-partnership, company, or corporation after such tax shall have become a lien upon said lands and before the expiration of the warrant attached to his tax roll, the township treasurer shall make application for and be entitled to an injunction to restrain waste on any of such lands upon which the taxes shall remain unpaid, and to prevent the cutting of any timber standing or growing thereon, or the removal of any timber, wood or logs, or the tearing down or removing of any buildings therefrom. Any circuit judge or circuit court commissioner of the county in which such lands are situated may on application of such township treasurer make an order restraining any person, co-partnership, company or corporation from committing waste on any such lands by the cutting of any timber standing or growing thereon or the removal of any timber, wood or logs, or the tearing down or removal of any buildings therefrom.
