§ 9-669. Removal of obstructions to projects.
 

(a)  Removal required.- A person who owns any structure or obstruction that is on, over, or under a way shall promptly move that structure or obstruction, if: 

(1) The structure or obstruction impedes the building or operation of a project; and 

(2) The sanitary commission gives reasonable notice of the need to move the object or obstruction. 

(b)  Scope of move.- The person shall move the object as necessary to allow the orderly building or operation of the project. 

(c)  District to pay cost of move.- The district shall pay the cost of moving the structure or obstruction.
