§ 6-505. Striking railroad vehicle with object.
 

(a)  "Railroad" defined.- In this section, "railroad" has the meaning stated in § 1-101 of the Public Utilities Article. 

(b)  Prohibited.- A person may not willfully and maliciously strike a railroad vehicle on a railroad or on an electric railway in the State by: 

(1) shooting or throwing an object at the railroad vehicle; or 

(2) causing an object to fall on the railroad vehicle. 

(c)  Penalty.- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or a fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.
