Section 6-101 - Definitions.

§ 6-101. Definitions.
 

(a)  In general.- In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. 

(b)  Commission.- "Commission" means the Maryland Parole Commission. 

(c)  Crime of violence.- "Crime of violence" has the meaning stated in § 14-101 of the Criminal Law Article. 

(d)  Director.- "Director" means the Director of the Division or the Director's designee. 

(e)  Division.- "Division" means the Division of Parole and Probation. 

(f)  Mandatory supervision.- "Mandatory supervision" has the meaning stated in § 7-101 of this article. 

(g)  Offender.- "Offender" means an individual on parole or under mandatory supervision. 

(h)  Parolee.- "Parolee" means an individual who has been released on parole. 

(i)  Program.- "Program" means a home detention program established under § 6-108 of this subtitle.
