212.650 Expense of maintaining city-county department. The expense of creating and establishing the city-county department of health shall be <br>paid by the city of the second class and by the county in such proportion as may be agreed <br>upon between the city legislative body and fiscal court at the time of establishing the <br>department. After the department has been established the annual expense of maintenance <br>shall be borne in the same proportion, or as may be agreed upon between the city <br>legislative body and fiscal court, and the city legislative body and fiscal court shall each <br>make an annual levy sufficient to produce the necessary amount.
