212.510 Use of donations for other purposes.

disease may be so well established that research becomes unnecessary, or the purposes for
which endowments, gifts or donations were made become unnecessary, then the board is
authorized, with the consent of the mayor of said city and the county judge/executive of
said county, or by an order of a Circuit Court having general equity jurisdiction, to devote
the funds and income therefrom which have been donated, set up, or otherwise received
for research work, along any particular line of disease and cure as may nearest approach
the disease or purpose for which said funds were donated and received, or with the
consent of the mayor of said city and the county judge/executive of said county, or upon
an order of a Circuit Court having general equity jurisdiction, may donate said funds to
such research institutions as can best carry out the wishes of various donors for the
