186A.525 Title for motor vehicle previously with branded title or salvage title.

If a motor vehicle had a brand previously affixed to its title or previously has been issued <br>a salvage title in this or any other jurisdiction, the applicant for a title for that motor <br>vehicle may, at the time of the application, notify the Transportation Cabinet of the prior <br>existence of a brand on the motor vehicle's title or of the previous salvage title for the <br>motor vehicle. The notification to the Transportation Cabinet shall include the title <br>number and the jurisdiction where the previous brand was issued. Upon verification, the <br>Transportation Cabinet shall issue a title with the appropriate brand for the motor vehicle. Effective: July 15, 1996 <br>History: Created 1996 Ky.
