171.500 Central depository. The department is hereby constituted the central depository for public records. It shall be <br>the duty of all departments, boards, commissions, officers or other agencies of the <br>Commonwealth to supply to the central depository copies of each of their reports and <br>publications issued for general public distribution after July 1, 1958, in the number and in <br>the manner prescribed by rule or regulation promulgated by the department pursuant to <br>KRS 171.450. College, university, and public libraries may be constituted depository <br>libraries by written order of the department. The central depository shall supply copies to <br>such depository libraries in the number and in the manner prescribed by rule or regulation <br>promulgated by the department pursuant to KRS 171.450.
