162.290 Alternative methods -- Other procedure not required. KRS 162.120 to 162.140 and KRS 162.150 to 162.280 are additional and alternate <br>methods for the acquisition of school buildings by boards of education of independent <br>districts embracing cities of any class, and do not include, alter, amend, or repeal any <br>other statute. No proceeding shall be required for the acquisition of any school building or <br>the issuance of bonds under KRS 162.150 to 162.280 except such as are prescribed by <br>those sections.
