149.315 Operative date of compact -- Exchange of official documents. When the Governor shall have executed a compact, as authorized by KRS 149.310, on <br>behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and shall have caused a verified copy thereof <br>to be filed with the Secretary of State, and when said compact shall have been ratified by <br>one or more of the states named in KRS 149.310, then said compact shall become <br>operative and effective as between the Commonwealth of Kentucky and such other state <br>or states. The Governor is hereby authorized and directed to take such action as may be <br>necessary to complete the exchange of official documents between the Commonwealth of <br>Kentucky and any other state ratifying said compact.
