102.020 Articles of incorporation.

the city of ...., county of ...., Kentucky, adopt the following articles of incorporation: "Article I. The objects of this corporation shall be to advance and improve civic
welfare, and to advertise and develop the industries and resources of ...., Kentucky. "Article II. The name of this corporation shall be .... Chamber of Commerce. "Article III. The affairs of this corporation shall be conducted by a board of not less
than six (6) directors, and such officers as may be established by the bylaws of the
corporation. "Article IV. The annual dues of the members of this corporation shall be not less
than twelve dollars ($12), payable as provided in the bylaws of the corporation. "Article V. Any resident of the city or county, or any firm or individual operating a
business or branch office therein, whose application meets with the approval of the
board of directors, may become a member by paying the first dues, and thereafter
complying with the articles of incorporation and bylaws. "Article VI. This corporation shall continue until terminated by operation of law. "Article VII. The board of directors shall adopt such bylaws as they deem necessary
for the regulation of the affairs of this corporation." (2) The articles of incorporation shall be recorded by the county clerk without fee. History: Amended 1974 Ky.
